Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

Bosch is a premium refrigerator brand that has an established reputation for producing high-quality products. Their counter-depth French-door models are flush with your countertop for a built in look. The refrigerators are efficient and quiet and include a smart-home feature that lets you control the fridge using your phone or tablet. The fridge is large enough to hold space for groceries and leftovers. This model features an ice maker that makes fresh, filtered ice on the spot. It's easy to use, as well. The ice and water dispensers are located inside the fridge instead of on the front, so they don't obstruct the sleek appearance of the exterior. The dispensers can be used with any cold beverage, including sports drinks and juice. This refrigerator is durable stainless steel finish that withstands scratches and scratches. It's fingerprint-resistant, too. If you're worried about smudges consider a cleaning solution that removes fingerprints without harsh chemicals.

This refrigerator comes with a large interior space of 20.5 cubic feet and Bosch's unique farmfresh system, which has four cutting-edge freshness technologies that ensure that fruits, vegetables and leftovers at least three times longer than the average. The temperature of the freezer is close to perfect, ranging no more than a fraction a degree off of the ideal.

The Bosch refrigerator is more expensive than the GE Appliances version, but it has more features. It is worth the extra cost. It comes with a door in the door storage area that allows you to keep small quantities of food in a bin which fits right into the fridge door. It also comes with a convertible compartment that has five temperature settings for various kinds of snacks, drinks and meat. The Bosch refrigerator comes with a smart home feature known as Home Connect that allows you to control it remotely using your smartphone or tablet.

The only drawbacks to the refrigerator is its flimsy main drawer as well as the difficult to use door latch on the right. The fridge is a great option for single households and kitchenettes which require more storage space than the typical French-door refrigerator. The stainless steel complements any kitchen beautifully.

LG Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

LG counter-depth refrigerators pack a lot of storage into a small footprint. They're also priced lower than standard-depth French door fridges and can eliminate the requirement for a separate under-counter freezer. The LG Smart Mirror InstaView Counter-Depth Refrigerator (LMWC23626S), which offers the capacity of a standard fridge in modern and sleek design, is no exception. It also has an internal dispenser that allows for easy access to filtered drinking water.

This model's exterior showcases a fingerprint-resistant stainless steel finish and a mirrored InstaView panel that adds to the modern look of the interior. The door bins are roomy and the top shelf can be folded down to create a half-depth shelves that allow higher-height items to fit. A set of crisper drawers can be found in the lower part of the refrigerator and the deli drawer with a full width is suitable for meat or produce.

A recessed ice maker is located on the back wall of the refrigerator, which helps to save space and makes it easier to store an additional bag of ice. The refrigerator is equipped with door-cooling technology that utilizes vents in the freezer and fridge doors to push cold air into the refrigerator. It helps prevent hot spots and keeps temperatures consistent throughout the fridge.

This LG refrigerator stood out during our tests. It offers ample space to feed a family, but we noticed a few unsettling flaws. The freezer drawers are not as cold as we'd like. The middle drawer reached 41 degrees during our maximum usage test, which is warm enough to serve ice cream and other frozen foods. The temperature of the rest of the freezer was at around 36 degrees.

Another issue is that the refrigerator doors have handles that are sunken both on the inside and under which makes it difficult for shorter people to comfortably guide them closed. It may seem like a minor issue but we prefer front mounted handles on refrigerators to make them easier to open and shut.

The refrigerator is pricey, but worth it for those who want a sleek look in their kitchen. We recommend this fridge for those looking to upgrade their fridge or are building a brand new home and want an integrated look in the kitchen.

Samsung Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

Samsung's latest counter-depth French-door refrigerator called the RF23M8090SG, is priced at $4200. It's a good-looking model that boasts useful features like an autofill water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It also performs well in our cooling tests, but we're not too fond of its polygon handles that are gimmicky and the bins with a crisper design appear a bit fragile.

Bespoke is one of the features that makes the RF23M8090SG stand out. It lets you personalize your refrigerator using removable colored panels. There are 11 colors to choose from, from soft pastels to more vibrant hues, and four metallic finishes. These panels can be customized to include text or photos. This makes the fridge more personal and can match your Rick Owens dress, Andy Warhol banana neon, or tie-dye Crocs.

The LED lighting can be changed to a different color which is a nice feature. The interior of the fridge has a sleek finish that minimizes the appearance of smudges and makes cleaning easier. The only flaws that really bother the RF23M8090SG are its crowded beverage center, and an inclination to access the door-indoor feature that houses a water dispenser as well as the pitcher. You must look for the lever on the underside midway down the door. When you locate it, the second door opens within the fridge, containing the docking station for the pitcher and the water dispenser.

The 6.8 cubic feet freezer compartment is big enough to store a lot frozen food items. It also has a slide-out drawer that allows you to access the food you need without opening the entire compartment.  french door fridge freezers  comes with an ice-cream bin style compartment for storing small items and a large capacity storage drawer that can store larger frozen items. This drawer is lockable by using a password to ensure that unwanted guests are kept out. It also has an LED that lets you see what's in it at an instant. The freezer can also track energy use and help you cut down on your power bill with the SmartThings that are smart and enabled with Energy mode.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

French door refrigerators provide a sleek appearance to any kitchen and they are suitable for various sizes of rooms. Counter-depth refrigerators are a great option for those who want this design, but without the height. We've tested many of them, and this Frigidaire model has a higher than average score in our ratings for its affordable price and thoughtful features like an adjustable temperature drawer.

It also has a few annoying issues. Our tests show that the FGHB2866PF warms up quite some in the freezer, and it can be uncomfortable warm in the fridge's interior shelving. This is evident in our heat maps which show how much the interior temperatures fluctuate minute by minute. The orange region in the top right, representing the butter bin, has been particularly warm throughout our testing period. It might not seem to be a problem at first, but the fridge spends most of the time above 32 degrees.

It's also worth noting that the FGHB2866PF isn't an Energy Star-certified model. This could be a factor for certain buyers. The real problem is that the fridge isn't very good. It's lacking advanced features and is made of a slender, flimsy material, making it difficult to recommend it over more expensive models at this price.

This Frigidaire refrigerator is like the stainless steel model you might find in the local appliance store. It's a great option with a brushed finish that looks great and is resistant to smudges. However, it doesn't offer much to distinguish itself from its competitors who are more feature rich and cost less.

Still, if you're shopping for a low-cost counter-depth French door refrigerator and don't have the budget to spend a lot on our top selections and the FGHC2331PF is worth looking into. It has enough storage space for many families, and does a decent job keeping food fresh. Even even if it's not a green model, it's a lot cheaper than our best-rated models.
